Planning to purchase the most efficient water filter on the market? Well, this article will help you understand the technology behind the Virgin Pure Water System & PurOstill® Water Distiller System.

Big brands & Water Purity claims

The bigger brand often claims to offer water that is pure and free from any impurities. When you are purchasing water from any outlet, or you are purchasing the water distiller, you must make sure that you are picking the option that offers pure water without any impurities.

Simply using a TDS meter (a small unit which measures the nano particles per million suspended in water), you can figure out whether or not the water is pure or not. The lower the rating on the TDS meter is, the purer the water is.

When comparing water samples from Costco, Coca-Cola, Zero Water filter, and Virgin Pure water filter, you can see various purity levels.

Water from Costco has the TDS Rating of 144, whereas the water from the Coca-Cola (Smart Water) packaging the TDS Rating was 211, which was comparatively much greater than the Costco option.

When checking the purity of the Zero Water, we found that the TDS Rating was 4. Only 4! By far the purest water. Lastly, when we checked the Virgin water distiller, we tried it with cold and hot water both. When using the cold water for the virgin water distiller, the TDS rating was 358, and with the hot water test, the water was not clear and had a TDS rating of 774.

Comparing the TDS rating with such claims of the water distiller, we found that except for zero water, all the purity claims by the more prominent brands were not accurate except that of the Zero Water filter.

Why use natural Distillation Technology over traditional filter technology?

A few options for cleaning the water and removing the impurities include filtration, crystallization, and distillation. When considering the best purification method used by many purification plants, used at home and commercially, distillation can be the one for you.

Distillation is the process of removing impurities from water by boiling it in a container and directing the produced steam into cooling tubes. The steam is condensed and then collected as purified water in a second container. The impurities in the water are left behind in the first container and can then be discarded leaving you with pure distilled water to drink.

Distilled water is scientifically more pure and offers you water with the least amount of impurities compared to physical filters.

Benefits of Water Distillation:

During the water distillation process, not only the metals are separated. These metals and inorganic particles include nitrates, sulphates, lead, and others.

With the boiling process, the bacteria and the germs are killed, leaving the water even cleaner and more purified.

Obtain close to 100% Pure Water with the PurOstill Water Distiller®

The TDS meter makes sure whether or not the water is pure or not. When checking the water using the TDS meter reading, you can determine how much impurity is available in the water.

The lower the water rating is, the better it will be, as the purity will be a lot better in that case. To obtain a purity that is close to 100%, the TDS rating has to be closer to zero.

There is a lot more to consider when you are getting any of these water filters and distillers, here are a few points to consider:

Design:

The Virgin Pure water system is bulkier. Whereas the PurOstill® Distiller is a lot better in terms of design, size, and compatibility. You can easily accommodate the PurOstill® Water Distiller on your kitchen top, whereas making space for the virgin filter can be difficult as this unit has to be connected to your water supplier and requires hard plumbing.

TDS Rating:

When comparing the TDS rating of the water from both of the Virgin Pure and the PurOstill®, we can see a significant difference. As mentioned above, for the Virgin pure water filter, we did the test with cold and hot water.

The TDS rating for the cold water was 378 and 774 for the hot water, and the water looked smoggy, which shows the unmistakable sign of impure water. As the PurOstill® Distiller uses natural DISTILLATION technology the process in which the water is filtered is completely different to the Virgin Pure System. Price:

When comparing the price of both of the water filters and distillers, we found that there is a significant price difference. Virgin Pure works on an initial purchase as well as a monthly subscription whereas the PurOstill® Distiller has only the initial purchase cost.

The PurOstill® Water Distiller also produces a comparatively less TDS meter reading. In fact the PurOstill® produces a TDS reading of less than 1PPM. The proof is in the experiment and the physical residue left behind after a distillation cycle.

A PurOstill® owner’s review:

Conclusion

When you feel having pure water is essential and looking for the filter and distillers, you have to do a little research. Our independent experiments prove the results obtained by both technologies. When going for 100% pure water, make sure you pick the water filter or distillers that are not only incredible in terms of design and also perfect in terms of function.

Distillation is a natural process which has been used for centuries, in fact, nature’s water cycle is based on the distillation principle.

When considering which type of water filter to chose from always ask yourself, what is the outcome you are looking for. If it is close to 100% pure water, then the PurOstill® Water Distiller is the ideal choice for you and your family.
